West Jakarta PMI Targets Private Schools for Fundraising

It aims to achieve the target set this year amounting to Rp 5 billion

The West Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) is committed to raising funds to support social humanity from private schools through fundraising actions.

"It aims to achieve the target set this year amounting to Rp 5 billion," expressed West Jakarta Vice Mayor, M Zen, Monday (9/2).

Rp 171 Million Donated to Tsunami Victims

He went on to say that this year's fundraising results will be returned in the form of social humanity.

"One of them is the social aid for fire victims," he told.

West Jakarta Education 1 Sub-agency Head, Tajuddin Nur noted that there were 378 private schools in West Jakarta.

"Last year we did it in state schools only. So, to reach the target, we agreed to hold it in a private school," he stated.
